Location: the hotel was very close to the grounds, which are so green and beautifully manicured and Canton and restaurants on the service road to highway. Brand-new room, that also was spotless...

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like!

The breakfast was wonderful, and the convenient proximity to local eateries like Whataburger and Denny's made every meal a treat. It's clear this place really cares about its guests, especially with the added charm of a friendly local cat roaming around.

well-kept grounds

The breakfast worker was especially cheerful. The grounds were impeccably maintained, with lovely landscaping. I loved the comfy king room, especially the leather recliner next to the bed, made relaxing easy after a long day. Plus, the hot tub was a nice treat!

We spent our days checking out the Ennis Railroad and Cultural Heritage Museum and catching a show at the Ennis Public Theatre. The on-site Ritz Club was perfect for evening cocktails. Super convenient location, and the breakfast spread was a great start to our mornings. Highly recommend making this your base.

Unfortunately, the nearby train tracks were a bit noisy at night, which interrupted our sleep. While the place is charming, it's something to be aware of.

The staff demonstrated genuine friendliness, even going out of their way to help us with our car issues. I appreciated the comfortable recliner in our room and the clean, well-maintained grounds.

The only downside was some noise at the pool area.
